Burning CDs and DVDs

Backing up your data to CDs or DVDs is easy, but you must remember to do it regularly!

• Whether you use CD or DVD depends on the data type of what you are saving and how much space it requires.
• CDs generally hold 650 - 700MB and DVDs hold 4.3 - 4.7GB
• Roxio EZ-Media Creator is available to use on computers in Ruffner 209 (computer lab) and most faculty and staff computers have an application called Sonic Digital Media that can be used to burn CDs and DVDs.
